MXR Micro Flanger (MX-152)

made in Rochester/NY, 1981

MXR Micro Flanger, early 1981 non-LED version

Based on the benchmark sounds of the MXR big box Flanger, the Micro Flanger features many of the same flanging flavors of the big brother, but in a more convenient size, with a Speed knob to control the rate of cycling and a Regeneration knob to manage the overall intensity. Like its sibling, the Micro Chorus, its warm and organic sound is based on a Reticon SAD512 bucket brigade chip - a bit noisy, but ultimate in rich analog tone.

list price 1982 (Germany): 300 DM
