Don't get fooled by the name: the Clean Machine is a pure overdrive/fuzz box. The rotary switch on the left side gives you four different options of distortion: warm overdrive at position 1, while position 5 is over the top fuzz reminiscent of triangle/ram's fuzzes. And you can set the overall volume with the treadle.
