The OD9 uses the OD-850 pcb and most of the enclosures are repainted TS9 and SD9 cases, hence it's literally built of leftovers. Produced in extremely small quantities, never found its way to the official Ibanez catalogs. Rumor has it that all OD9 were built for the French market only. The fact that the owner's manual isn't trillingual (English, German, French) as the rest of the 9-series manuals but French only, does attest that.
list price 1983: n.a.
availability: extremely rare
collectibility: extremely high
re-issued: not at all (the Maxon OD9 is just another Tube Screamer)
