The HM-2 is the cornerstone of the Swedish death-metal ‘buzzsaw’ guitar sound, sporting tons of gain, coupled with the ability to boost or cut mids using the H (high) Colour Mix. Boss discontinued this model in 1993 and replaced it by the MT-2 Metal Zone that offers a similar midrange control.
